Part of one of the world’s largest and most biologically diverse estuary systems, the Indian River Lagoon and Mosquito Lagoon are also home to an incredible, year-round inshore fishery.
Capt. Fred Pharis has spent more than 25 years learning the nuances of the area and more than 10 years as a fishing guide, leading anglers of all experience levels to amazing catches of redfish, speckled trout, black drum, snook, tarpon and more.
Easygoing and adaptable, Capt. Fred takes pride in tailoring every fishing trip to the skill level, preferences and style of guests — from easy, fast-paced bait fishing for kids to technical “quality over quantity” sight-fishing with artificial lures for discerning anglers.
Top-quality fishing tackle and an immaculately maintained flats skiff rigged with the latest electronics and accessories ensure a safe and successful experience every time.
Of course, fishing is only part of that experience. Just an hour from Orlando’s bustling theme parks, these lagoons feel like another world. In this watery, tropical wilderness, dolphins, manatees, alligators, exotic birdlife and, of course, spectacular sunrises are frequent sightings.

I’ve been fishing Central Florida’s Indian River and Mosquito Lagoons for more than 25 years, and guiding here for more than 10. Introducing people to this incredible fishery — and the natural beauty of the area — is my passion.
Fishing means something different to each person. For some, it’s competitive — a constant quest to catch more and bigger fish. Trips Starting at Just $400 for 5 Hours!
We offer 5- and 7-hour fishing trips year-round on the Indian River and Mosquito Lagoons. We also offer Port Canaveral inlet fishing charters during the spring and an afternoon half-day option during the cooler months.
